During a remedial massage consultation I will take a thorough health history and perform a combination of subjective and objective assessments, in order establish the causative factor of your injury or complaint. This will enable me to provide a specific individualized treatment plan to address your particular concern and help to provide relief for the symptoms.
While remedial massage can relieve pain, treat muscle soreness, increase range of motion & provide soft tissue release, sometimes the treatment can be painful or uncomfortable. I will actively consult with you to manage the pressure and pain level, to ensure that you receiving the most benefit possible while remaining within a tolerable range.
Techniques used may include: Remedial Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Sports & Therapeutic Massage, Myofascial Release Technique, Trigger Point Therapy, Joint Mobilization, Myofascial Dry Needling, Vacuum Cupping, Stretching, and Relaxation Techniques.

Myofascial Dry Needling
Myofascial Trigger Point Dry Needling is an evidence-based treatment technique which uses small filament type needles to release tight muscles with the goal of permanently reducing muscle pain and dysfunction.
This technique can be used in conjunction with manual physical therapy to effectively treat acute and chronic orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. Research supports that dry needling improves pain control, reduces muscle tension, normalizes dysfunction of muscle activation patterns, and assists with rehabilitation.
Regular massage is an integral part of a wellness regime and there are a variety of reasons clients come to see me on a regular basis to help maintain their physical and mental health.
Relaxation massage can assist with the management of anxiety and depression, and can help to reduce the incidence and severity of insomnia. Regular treatments can also assist with general wellness by helping to improve circulation, assisting with detox by stimulating the lymphatic system, and can provide a boost to immunity by clearing out toxins in muscle and surrounding tissue.
Bike Fit & Setup Assessment
Having a poorly-fitted bike can not only cost you efficiency and speed, it can also ultimately lead to pain and injury! You may have had your bike fitted to you, or at least sized appropriately, when it was first purchased. But how detailed was that fit, and has your riding style/experience/frequency changed since then? It's a great idea to get a professional fit done either when you get a new bike, when your riding habits change, or when you are experiencing unnecessary pain or injury during or after a ride.
Rather than simply measuring you up and fitting the bike to your current physical state including limitations in flexibility and strength - Cazz will look at the big picture and aim to get you and your body functioning in an optimal way, and setting up your bike to work towards that goal as well.
Investment: $140 for 1 bike (allow 2 hours), $60 for each extra bike.
Location: Cazz's home studio in Preston.
